§ Mr. ForthNo. A number of regulations have been made under the Health and Safety at Work etc. Act 1974 which specify the precautions necessary during the transport, storage and fabrication of hazardous substances such as beryllium. Additionally, occupational exposure to beryllium is currently under review by the Health and Safety Commission's advisory committee on toxic substances.
