§ Mr. Archie HamiltonAs my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State indicated during his statement to the House in July, the "Options" study identified ways in which our armed forces might be restructured by the mid-1990s. There is a great deal of work still to be done in refining these proposals and the pace at which they will be implemented will be influenced by our consultations with NATO and allies, and by CFE.
