To ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what further financial assistance he intends to give the London borough of Hackney.

We shall give careful consideration to Hackney local education authority's bids for funding for capital expenditure and for activities within the combined grants for education support and training programme for 1991–92, alongside those received from other LEAs.
