To ask the Secretary of State for Defence if he will make a statement on co-ordination in the Gulf between British and Syrian forces.

Arrangements have been agreed which would enable British forces in Saudi Arabia to operate effectively with Saudi, American or other forces as necessary. 7 Armoured Brigade will, however, be positioned alongside the United States Marines in north-east Saudi Arabia.
