§ Mr. CurryComprehensive comparisons of productivity are not available. As a broad guide, however, Eurostat figures for 1987 to 1989 suggest that gross value added per labour unit averaged some £12,200 in the United Kingdom compared with £10,700 in France and £10,600 in Germany.
