Mr. Mc AllionTo ask the Secretary of State for Scotland if he will publish in theOfficial Report the names of the individuals appointed to the boards of each of the local enterprise companies in the Scottish Enterprise and Highlands and Islands Enterprise areas, indicating for each individual whether they are involved in (a) private sector business, (b) local authority, (c) a trade union, (d) other non-private sector or (e) other public sector.
§ Mr. LangAt least two-thirds of the board members of local enterprise companies are to be drawn from the private sector. Individual appointments are for the local enterprise companies themselves. Board membership will be listed in the published summaries of the companies' business plans.
