§ Mr. Alfred MorrisTo ask the Secretary of State for Social Security if any increase is planned in the resources available to the social fund to allow for the unpredictable extra expenditure incurred in helping people who have returned to the United Kingdom from Iraq and Kuwait since the invasion of Kuwait.
§ Mr. ScottAll such expenditure is being recorded and monitored. At this stage it is not thought that extra resources will be required, but close monitoring will continue.
