§ Mr. FreemanThe east-west crossrail and Chelsea to Hackney line proposed by the central London rail study would respectively cost about £1.4 billion and £1.8 billion to build at today's prices. The Jubilee line extension will cost over £1 billion at today's prices. No other proposals for new cross-London or underground links have been submitted to the Department.
