To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department if he will call for a report from the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis as to how many of the mounted officers involved in the disturbances in London on 31 March were involved in the charge in Trafalgar square.

I am advised by the Commissioner of Police of the Metropolis that 25 mounted officers were deployed to disperse the demonstrators in Trafalagar square during the disturbances on 31 March.
