HL Deb 16 May 1990 vol 519 cc381-2WA
Lord Donaldson of Kingsbridge

asked Her Majesty's Government:

Whether they will replace the bird pictures which used to be displayed on the bridge in St. James's Park and which enabled visitors to identify the water-birds in the Park.

The Parliamentary Under-Secretary of State, Department of the Environment (Lord Hesketh)

There is no record of illustrations of wildfowl being displayed on the actual footbridge across the lake in St. James's Park, but 44 illustrations are displayed on the shoreline on either side of the footbridge nearest the Mall.
