§ Mr. NichollsEach year the factory inspectorate spends a percentage of its resources on the identification and inspection of unregistered fixed workplaces as part of its programme of preventative inspections.
The Health and Safety Executive has no plans to undertake or commission other research into the proportion of unregistered factory premises or the number of employees who work in such premises.
