§ Mr. Lang[holding answer 15 May 1990]: Information is currently being collected about the ethnic origin, religion and home languages of all secondary pupils and of primary entrants. It is not proposed to obtain corresponding information about school teachers because so few teachers in Scotland come from minority groups.
