§ Mr. SainsburyHer Majesty's Government have received 485 letters from right hon. and hon. Members on behalf of constituents and a further 280 direct from members of the public. The Government share the widespread concern to ensure protection of the Antarctic environment and believe that the convention on the regulation of Antarctic mineral resource activities will make an important contribution to this objective.
