§ Mr. Wyn RobertsThe need for, and the effectiveness of, parking restrictions on local roads is entirely a matter for consideration by local highway authorities who have a statutory duty under the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 to exercise their powers to secure the expeditious, convenient and safe movement of vehicular and other traffic.
