§ Mr. AtkinsThe role of the Traffic Director was outlined in paras 7.34–7.38 of "Traffic in London" published following my right hon. Friend's statement on 14 December last. We shall be consulting the organisations concerned shortiy on proposals for legislation. The appointment will depend on the timing of legislation. The director will have a small staff, but its size and location have not yet been decided.
