§ Mrs. ChalkerMy right hon. Friend the Prime Minister announced on 21 March, during the visit of President Havel to Britain, that the know-how fund for eastern Europe had been extended to cover Czechoslovakia. The aim will be to provide advice, skills and training to aid Czechoslovakia's transition towards democracy and a market economy. We shall be discussing an overall strategy for the use of the fund with the Czechoslovak authorities.
