§ Mr. Gordon Brown
To ask the Secretary of State for Trade and Industry when he will publish the first report of his Department's Innovation Advisory Board.

§ Mr. Ridley
In its first 15 months the Innovation Advisory Board has focused on particular issues concerning the United Kindom's performance on innovation. Its work on two of these topics, "Innovation and Growth", and "Innovation: City Attitudes and Practices", will be published for a conference on innovation and short-termism planned for 25 June this year.
