§ Mr. StrawTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science how many staff, at what grades, and what proportion of the total, have resigned or are intending to resign from the employment of the Universities Funding Council in consequence of(a) its move to Bristol and (b) for other reasons.
§ Mr. MacGregorNone. All staff directly employed by the council are prepared to move to Bristol. Those on secondment at EO level and above who will be under age 57 at the time of relocation will be asked whether they wish to become employees of the council and move to Bristol. All staff aged 57 and over and those at AO level and below will return to their employers.
