§ Mr. AltonTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what account is taken in providing grants for new housing associations of the assets or funding available to them in the allocation of resources for 1990–91.
§ Mr. ChopeHousing Corporation circulars HC31/88 and HC74/89 set out the financial viability criteria that the corporation applies where registered housing associations seek housing association grant. They cover associations' property assets and reserves, and also their management competence. The corporation has discretion to vary the criteria for small or new associations.
§ Mr. AltonTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what is the average rent payable by a disabled person living in special needs accommodation provided by housing associations operating on Merseyside.
§ Mr. AltonTo ask the Secretary of State for the Environment what representations he has received about the levels of grants payable to housing associations on Merseyside providing accommodation for people with special needs.
