Mr. JacksonIn 1987–88, 12,218 assessments totalling £7,546,382 were made for the older students allowance for students receiving mandatory award. The allowance was last uprated with effect from September 1989.
§ Mr. MurphyTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science whether students who are following a foundation course which is a prerequisite for entry to a non-science and technology degree course are eligible for mandatory maintenance awards.
