§ The Prime MinisterThe next meeting of the European Council is the informal meeting in Dublin on 27 and 28 April, which will discuss eastern Europe and the unification of Germany.
I will continue to emphasise the importance that we all attach to completing the single market by the end of 1992. It is important that the Community should not be distracted from this goal. I shall also continue to emphasise the importance of implementation of single market directives now that almost 60 per cent. of the programme is complete and we are on course for meeting the 1992 deadline.
