To ask the Secretary of State for Defence how many women have been arrested under the RAF Greenham Common byelaws since they were introduced; how many women were charged; and how many were convicted.

Since the byelaws came into operation on 1 April 1985 2,448 arrests have been made, and in 1,503 of these cases the person arrested has been charged. There have been 812 convictions.
