To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what guidance his Department issues on pollarding or copsing cricket bat willows.

Guidance on growing cricket bat willows is given in Forestry Commission bulletin 17, "The Cultivation of the Cricket Bat Willow". This bulletin is out of print, but I am arranging for a photocopy to be placed in the Library of the House. Photocopies can also be bought from the Forestry Commission's library at Alice Holt Lodge, Farnham, Surrey, GU 10 4LH.
