§ Mr. ScottOn 13 December 1989 my right hon. Friend the Secretary of State and I met representatives of the Disability Benefits Consortium which includes the Royal National Institute for the Blind and which represents other blind people's organisations. We shall soon be meeting the Disability Benefits Consortium again to listen to its views on the Command Paper "The Way Ahead: Benefits for Disabled People". I will also separately be meeting representatives of the National Federation of the Blind and Disabled of the United Kingdom.
