§ Mr. NichollsMy right hon. and learned Friend has had two meetings with members of the Health and Safety Commission since becoming Secretary of State. He met the 341W chairman of the commission on 31 January for a wide-ranging discussion on the work of the Health and Safety Commission and the Health and Safety Executive. He also met the chairman with five members of the commission on 31 May when they discussed the commission's plan of work for 1990–91 and beyond.
