§ Mr. Alan HowarthI was glad to have the opportunity to visit schools in Coventry on 22 June. I was impressed by 15W the professionalism and commitment of the teachers I met. It was helpful, following my meeting with representatives of Coventry LEA in February, to be able to see at first hand some of the problems of the physical conditions at these schools. The Department will do everything it can, consistent with the need to be fair to all authorities, to assist Coventry LEA in its task of improving conditions in its schools.
