§ Mr. Alan HowarthThe Department is not directly involved in developing school visits and exchange programmes. It does however fund the Central Bureau for Educational Visits and Exchanges to undertake activities of this kind. Additional resources have been made available to the bureau in the 1990–91 financial year to expand its programme of educational visits and exchanges, including those with eastern Europe.
