To ask the Secretary of State for Transport if he will review regulations in force at air shows to which the public are admitted; and if he will make a statement.

Mr. McLoughlin

The current regulations concerning safety at air shows at which more than 500 spectators are expected, article 56 of the air navigation order 1989, first came into force on 31 January 1989. The regulations are kept under constant review.
