§ Mr. Archie HamiltonNuclear proliferation and the non-proliferation treaty are kept under continual scrutiny by Ministers and officials in the Foreign and Commonwealth Office and the Ministry of Defence. We are active, at various levels, in encouraging non-parties to accede to the treaty, and will play a full part in the proceedings at the 1990 NPT review conference.
