§ Mr. Michael SpicerThe results of a major national study of homelessness and temporary accommodation carried out for the Department by the university of Birmingham's centre for urban and regional studies was published last year. My Department has also commissioned the university of York to carry out a study of the housing effects of relationship breakdown; this will be completed in 1992. Results of the first stage have already been published.
