HC Deb 26 July 1990 vol 177 c514W
Mr. Michael

To ask the Secretary of State for Wales if he will publish the latest monthly and quarterly figures available to him for Wales as a whole and for each district health authority area in Wales for(a) eye tests undertaken and (b) new ophthalmic out-patient referrals; and if he will give the equivalent figures for 1989.

Mr. Grist

The available information is given in the table.

Many of the sight tests since April 1989 have been private transactions outside the national health service. Statistical information on these is not available centrally.
