§ Mrs. Virginia BottomleyA working party is being set up under Catherine McLoughlin, the director of nursing on the national health service management executive, to produce guidance on the principles for future management arrangements for community nursing.
The working party will look at examples where effective and efficient services are being provided. It will be looking to find the best way of sharing examples of good practice more widely as managers and staff seek to meet the needs of their local populations.
