§ Mr. RifkindMy right hon. Friend the Secretary of State for Energy has today announced details of the employee and pensioner share incentives to be made available when the electricity companies in England and Wales are offered for sale to the public. Although precise details of equivalent incentives in Scotland will not be determined until nearer the time when the two Scottish electricity companies are floated, I expect the special arrangements for both retired and existing employees of the Scottish electricity industry to be broadly in line with those on offer in England and Wales.
