§ Mr. Alan HowarthThis review has recently been completed, and the Department is writing today to local education authorities to convey my right hon. Friend's thanks for their co-operation with it and to give them some feedback. We are encouraged both by the positive manner in which authorities have responded to our advice and by the confirmation that the measures we recommended are proving generally helpful and workable.
