To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department how many representations have been received in connection with the failure of the Isle of Man bank.

Mr. Peter Lloyd

Since the collapse of the Savings and Investment Bank in the Isle of Man in 1982, a total of 52 representations have been received from, or on behalf of, 18 former investors with the bank. They have been informed that the matter is a domestic one within the jurisdiction of the Isle of Man.
