§ Mr. BoatengTo ask the Secretary of State for Foreign and Commonwealth Affairs what representations have been made to the Government of Kenya about human rights in that country, and the recent arrest without charge of Mr. Kenneth Matsla and Mr. Charles Ruha.
§ Mr. WaldegraveThere are real causes for concern including the detention of critics of the Government which are bound to worry the friends of Kenya. The Kenyan Government are well aware of our views on these matters.
