To ask the Secretary of State for the Home Department with whom he has discussed the Lockerbie bombing in the last six months; and if he will make a statement.

The investigation into the Lockerbie attack is the responsibility of the Dumfries and Galloway police, overseen by my noble and learned Friend the Lord Advocate; but I have discussed the wider implications of this attack from time to time with ministerial colleagues and with representatives of other Governments.
