§ Mrs. RumboldMy right hon. Friend has received a number of representations from schools in Hampshire concerning the funding arrangements for pupils with special educational needs, in the authority's scheme for the local management of schools. He has approved these arrangements for the first year of the scheme's operation only. Officers in the authority are working with schools to determine funding arrangements which reflect more clearly and objectively the needs of Hampshire's schools and their pupils.
