§ Mr. NeedhamThe Control of Substances Hazardous to Health Regulations do not yet apply in Northern Ireland. A consultative document setting out the Department of Economic Development's proposals for controlling substances considered hazardous to health was issued on 5 March 1990.
An initial assessment of potentially hazardous substances has been made by officials in the Northern Ireland Office and the PSA. This assessment is kept under constant review.
