§ Mr. John PattenInformation on the most recently reported position in respect of local authority emergency centres, including the most common shortcomings found in those which were not operational, was given in "A Report on Implementation of the Civil Defence (General Local Authority Functions) Regulations 1983 in England and Wales at 30 September 1989". The report was published in May and a copy is in the Library.
