This is available in the Library. My right hon. Friend will make his decision with regard to these criteria and in the light of comments received during the consultation he is currently undertaking with interested parties in the area.

§ Mrs. RumboldA total of £1.15 million has so far been promised by the private sector for the proposed Derby city technology college. Of this sum, £233,000 has been received.
§ Ms. ArmstrongTo ask the Secretary of State for Education and Science what steps he has taken to ensure that progress regarding planning permission for the land for the city technology college in Derby is halted pending the conclusion of the consultation process.

§ Mrs. RumboldThe total of public sector money spent upon the proposed city technology college in Derby amounted to £1.145 million by the end of May 1990. Apart from some small administrative costs, no further funds have been, or will be, allocated until my right hon. Friend has made his decision upon the proposal.
