To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food if he will provide details of restrictions imposed on the human consumption of bovine offal by the EEC member states other than the United Kingdom.

I am not aware that any other European Community member state has imposed restrictions on the consumption of offal.

Mr. Ron Davies

To ask the Minister of Agriculture, Fisheries and Food what restrictions are imposed on the import of bovine offal currently banned from human consumption in the United Kingdom.
