To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will approve the AIDS Care Education and Training application for a grant under section 64 for the current financial year.

Mr. Freeman

The Department has already awarded AIDS Care Education and Training a section 64 grant of £50,000 for the current financial year. Its application for section 64 funding for 1990–91 is under consideration.
