§ Mr. Lang[holding answer 22 January 1990]Supplementary allowances will continue to be available to all eligible students under the student allowances scheme after the introduction of student loans in session 1990–91.
The level of supplementary allowances for session 1991–92 and subsequent years will be considered at the appropriate time in the light of all the circumstances, including available resources.
