§ Mr. Archie HamiltonThe Ministry of Defence takes its responsibilities towards the conservation of its estate very seriously. The diversity of habitats means that many rare and uncommon species are to be found on defence land and a number of wildlife documentary programmes have either already been made, or are in the process of production. It is hoped, in due course, to complement these individual programmes with a major series.
