To ask the Secretary of State for Scotland when he expects to privatise the Eastern Scottish bus company.

Sales of the subsidiaries of the Scottish Bus Group will begin soon and it is expected that the whole programme will be completed early in 1991. It is not possible to say at this stage when Eastern Scottish Omnibuses Ltd will be offered for sale.
