Hospital Information Support Systems (HISS)
There are three pilot sites. The districts involved are:Nottingham, Darlington, GreenwichExpenditure by the Department in the current financial year is £2.94 million. Information on health authority expenditure on these projects is not held centrally.Resource Management Initiative (RMI)
Hospitals in six district health authorities are pilot sites for the resource management initiative. The districts are:Huddersfield, Lewisham and North Southwark, Newcastle, South Lincolnshire, Winchester, WirralThe costs of these projects are shared by the Department and the health authorities concerned. Information on health authority expenditure on these projects is not held centrally. Expenditure by the Department so far in this financial year is £1.1 million.
