§ Mr. GristAs at 31 March 1989, the proportion of the 75 and over age group living in residential homes in Wales was 60.7 per 1,000 relevant population. For the 85 and over age group the proportion was 157.3. Information on the age of patients in nursing homes is not held centrally.
