Mr. Wigley

To ask the Secretary of State for Health if he will list for the years 1987 and 1988 the estimated percentage of women delivering in(a) England and (b) England and Wales whose deliveries were (i) spontaneous, including abnormal presentation of head and breech spontaneous, (ii) instrumental, including forceps vacuum and breech extractions, (iii) caesarean section and (iv) other and unspecified means.
