(2) if the Leicester eastern bypass (A6–A46) will be constructed to dual carriageway standard.
§ Mr. AtkinsConsultants have still to be appointed for the proposed Leicester eastern bypass and a detailed programme is not available at this early stage. It is hoped to announce a preferred route in 1994, following public consultation, as announced in "Trunk Roads, England—Into the 1990s" on 20 February. The carriageway standard has yet to be determined.
